You’re right we need an entire new theory and understanding of how to address pricing.

The economy being utterly embedded in the temporal universe must reflect its process of starting, changing and stopping if it is to attain and maintain a continuous flow.

DSGE is flawed in that it assumes general equilibrium when the reality of modern economies’ most basic problem is a scarcity ratio of total individual incomes to total costs/prices. Merely equating that ratio does not resolve the problem because it only statistically/momentarily creates an equilibrium and so violates the process/free flowingness nature of the temporal universe.

What is required is to take adult, responsible and ethical control of the pricing system so that the scarcity ratio above….is inverted….so that the continuous reality is what I call “the higher disequilibrium” of total individual incomes exceeding total costs/prices. This will enable the economy to attain and maintain free flowingness and hence align with the nature of the temporal universe.

For the most part we have forgotten Wisdom and its mental process, the integration of the truths, workabilities, applicabilities and the highest ethical considerations in what appear to be opposing perspectives/policies, and the political, psychological and cultural fragmentation we see looming up around us is evidence of this. The false and obsessive dualities of capitalism and socialism must be integrated to the point of thirdness-greater wholeness….or we’re going to have real trouble eventually.

…and the cost inflationary nature of modern economies is not the result of increasing marginal costs.  The scarcity of individual income and costs arises out of the fact that money that “re-circulates”…”re-circulates” as business revenue and then is reduced, as all revenue is, against expenses. This costing/pricing/expensing  system integral and inherent to all commerce and essential in assessing profitability or lack thereof is the missing fact economists are looking for in their search for why the economy is not stable and does not tend toward equilibrium.  It is also the impetus for the only way that the economy presently can avoid forthrightly descending into recession and then depression, namely borrow more money. But that of course incurs costs even at 0% interest which consequently does not resolve the inherent scarcity of individual incomes.

Breaking up the monopoly monetary/financial paradigms of Debt and Loan Only with the new primary paradigm of Direct and Reciprocal Monetary Gifting is essential for avoiding these otherwise inevitable cost inflationary effects of the economy and accomplishing the actual solution for it.

The point and time of “retail product sale” is completely analogous to the “magical” point of nowness-newness-consciousness referred to as the self aware present moment in consciousness raising….because “Retail Product Sale” is exactly the when, where and the salient point and purpose of the economic process….the same as the the present moment is exactly when, where and what one meets…when they become much more fully conscious, that is, that they are a conscious BEING who has the transformational ability to create and self actualize their own reality and direct the purposes of their life.

Wisdom is the ability to discern the underlying truths and/or relevant insights that cut through all of the complexities of any subject under discussion/analysis. Wisdom always shows the way forward and the way home to solutions, not palliatives, irrelevancies, distractions and/or panderings to power. This is why Wisdom is so far above and so preferable to mere intellect, and why the powerful fear and/or disdain wisdom.

I understand this is anathema to the economist of scientific and mathematical mind, and even of the most iconoclastic reformer, but historically paradigm change has always been of such depth and breadth of transformational change that…that is exactly how such tinkering appears once one sees the paradigm change.

In no way is this any put down or discouragement of further scientific research or of science’s necessity, nor is it any advocacy of some sort of parochial or sectarian religious dogmatism. It is the advocacy of the integration of the scientific method and aspects of human wisdom-consciousness which has always been the signature of scientific breakthrough.
