I have no illusions about the ability of liberals to perceive and act with actual wisdom as my prior posts show. However, the same applies to conservatives and particularly to our president who is a third rate intellect that, even if he may have a tenuous commitment to the few correct intentions of populism, outside of demagoging it, is such a personally flawed mess that he apparently confuses mere power and spiteful domination with wisdom.
Wisdom and its pinnacle concept Grace are the ethical transformation and use of power without spitefulness or domination.
Clean up the mess Donald. That is what wisdom traditions have always required of their novitiates, and that is what the nation also requires of its leader…if he cares more about accomplishing an agenda than working his personal problems.
