They do not know how to integrate and refine opposing perspectives and come up with an entirely third and more unified one. That is the ability and nature of Wisdom. Wisdom is the discipline and ability to create the superlative. I see scant inclination toward and probably even less of  the knowledge of the process of Wisdom in our politics, and in times when Wisdom is desperately called for that is a very bad sign.
