You’re a brilliant systemic analyst, but your cynicism negates that despite the historical reality of accomplished paradigm changes and in the present case the two truest political truisms that individual voters are many, oligarchs and bankers are few and individuals WILL vote their pocketbooks.
Give everyone an account at the central bank and have the central bank fund and distribute the monetary/rebate aspect of a 50% Discount/Rebate policy at both regular consumer and also at the financial point of retail sale. Presently the Federal Reserve/central bank, which is god so far as money creation is concerned, is only the bail bondsman for the banks. Have it fund half of the price of every transaction that has been voluntarily discounted by the merchant by 50% so the merchant is made whole on their entire price and it becomes The General Reserve and the best friend forever of every economic agent.
If Kepler hadn’t discovered elliptical orbits we’d still be calculating epicycles, and if we don’t continuously broadcast the benefits of the above policies because our cynicism makes us stop before we begin, we’ll never have a paradigm change in economics and the money system.
Ask yourself this: Why didn’t “the revolt of the bourgeosie” happen? Yes, the forces of capitalism immediately tried to smash the communist revolution in Russia and forced Lenin et al into totalitarian means of stopping that combined of course with Russian tendencies toward doing that anyway. However, the deeper reason is the communists, exactly like the capitalists, never effectively dealt with the monopoly monetary paradigm that Finance wields in a way that integrates the self interests of both consumer and merchant thus paving the way to not just revolution, but evolution of the economic and monetary systems. The 50% Discount/Rebate policy at the various points of retail sale accomplishes that integrative necessity and the human and historical phenomenon known as a paradigm change…because acting with grace as in MONETARY GIFTING to both sides of an economic conflict is the best way to resolve that conflict.
Systems analysis is wonderful, necessary and intellectually delicious…and it exists entirely within the digestive tract of a deeper means of resolving opposites/dualities/problems/conflicts known as WISDOM/conceptual/paradigmatic analysis. We don’t need capitalism or socialism. We need a Wisdomics-Gracenomics.
