QE is Social Credit for the Banks.

MMT is Social Credit for the government.

Debt Jubilee is Social Credit for the moment.

What we need is actual Social Credit because it breaks up the monopoly on credit and the claim to ownership of money by the Banks. We need Social Credit as specifically mandated government policy so politicians won’t meddle or cave to the powers that be. What we need is continuous consumer debt jubilee so the individual and the system can be free and free flowing in a modern age of technological abundance, and so we can progress together toward a rational, ethical, peaceful and ecologically sane future.

You’re so very correct Billy. But there are other considerations that need to be addressed also. Like realizing that philosophy precedes policy and policy must align with and reflect philosophy. And even before that…that old paradigms gone on way too long must be replaced by new, more inclusive, more integrative and hence more unifying and wise ones. Things are speeding up more and more, and crises are multiplying, hence we are at a true paradigmatic crossroads. Monetary gifting/monetary grace the free gift IS the new economic and monetary paradigm. That is absurd to the austerians, and nearly as absurd to most progressives as you state above, but even the MMTers and modern debt jubilee advocates still remain to one degree or another in the paradigms of Debt ONLY, Loans ONLY, for production ONLY, via the system first ONLY. When one integrates these with the ideas of gifting, for consumption and direct to the individual….is when one has seen past the old and looked at the new.

Time is a Trinity. Consciously, it is a moment, and a flow of moments and in the (relatively) unconscious flow of the physical universe an enforced flow of change as well.

Economic theorists think they have solved the problems of Time, Time lags and the effects of change that Time has in the physical universe, but they actually haven’t, they’ve only palliated them. They’ve forgotten that in order to actually overcome excess cost and individual scarcity of available income, which are always the reality and always in effect in micro-economics and in every enterprise, and consequently must be macro-economically modeled, policies must be formulated to deal with these that are costless to both the individual and to the system,  have direct and immediate effects and also do not initiate the inherent systemic aspects of the actual systemic problems. Finally, these policies must resolve both the scarcity of individual incomes and the inflationary tendencies of the system….at the same time.

Theorists must also recognize that Time flows onward relentlessly and its moment to moment reality of change is cumulative and so these policies must be both ongoing, progressive, proactive and evolutionary so as to reverse the negative effects of stasis (that is the negative effects of not adapting to the changes that the passage of time itself will cause) in the physical universe. Thus the discount to retail prices must be proactively deflationary to counter these effects.

The policies that fulfill all three of those conditions and actually address the two primary problems are a free monetary gift via a universal dividend to the individual and a rebated discount to prices by retail merchants that creates actual price deflation. These policies mirror and factor both the conscious and unconscious aspects of Time mentioned above.

That’s what we need. A modern Debt jubilee to lower private indebtedness especially for assets like houses,….and then an ongoing individual dividend and continuously compensated retail discount as a substitute for consumer finance as well.

The difference between a Social Credit economy and the present one is Social Credit would effect immanent individual economic freedom while the present one requires that the individual slavishly serves an elite and the system. Neither can be perfect, although with rationally balanced and ethical regulations Social Credit would obviously be so much less flawed and problematic than the present historically unstable veil of tears…that when economists, politicians and the general population become aware of the realities it would bring about the first two will have to bow their heads in introspective unbelief at how they could have missed its significance/opposed its implementation, and the latter (individuals) will react with a mixture of outrage and laughter.

Andrew: Yeah 1993 reminded me of how we used to do “Whoopdedos” as we walked around malls and other places we went. Remember? Mallory: Yeah, every family should do this. It’s remembrance, horror, joy, embarrassment, laughter and fulfillment all wrapped up into one. I guess that’s what they call art.

They should instead just take a deep breath, replace consumer finance with a universal dividend and retail discount to the individual…and not worry, but be happy.

Do you feel like the current economic and money systems are fair or operate in your interests? Right, didn’t think so. Are you interested in a better system for yourselves and for your sons and daughters, and your mother and father? Yes, of course, that is the naturally human way of being, of feeling, and,….if one is not continually harried, hurried and handicapped by an unfair and unworkable system for the greater part of everyone’s day…the mostly natural way of acting as well. Man may be flawed, but most men are basically good and most always much more Good than evil. That’s why even though we live in a system which actually increasingly forces us to live in an unfair and overly difficult economic situation only about 2-3% of us ever do something bad enough to deserve ending up “in the big house”.  And I would bet that a very large percent of those who do deserve to be there because of an actual crime they committed….can most often be tied back to them growing up in a social and economic environment that was anything but confident, hopeful and caring.

So what if that changed? What if that changed for them…and for everyone? What if? What if there was an idea, a concept, a philosophy, a way of thinking, feeling and acting that was better than the philosophy of power, profit and control that the current economic and money systems are based on? What if the system was based on the idea of Grace and graciousness, and its policies actually created the gracious effects of giving and gifting? That is, its actions, its policies actually gave everyone a gracious gift of money so that the economy could flow gracefully and powerfully like a great river, and then retail businesses gave everyone a large discount on prices…and then those merchants who participated in such a gracious and giving program….were given back every cent of the discounts they graciously gave to you and me and everyone else….including the retail merchants themselves! It would be gracious and good….for everyone. That’s because grace is giving, gifting, that is freely and costlessly giving, and…freely receiving as well. In other words it benefits, it blesses the giver as much as the receiver...that’s one of the true secrets of Grace. Grace is an incredibly deep and powerful and mentally miraculous idea, and it is just as miraculous as a policy. Why? Because a policy, if truly aligned with and reflective of the idea it is based on….creates the effects of that idea.

There are many other aspects to Grace that are beneficial, that contribute to the welfare of everyone, that transform considerations like power, mere profit and control for the sake of controlling. So create and contemplate the reality and power of Grace in your mind. Create and contemplate each and every aspect of Grace. Combine several of the aspects of Grace in your mind. Look at it. Look at them. Visualize them. Grace is graciousness for instance. Graciousness is tolerance and understanding. It’s patience and the willingness to consider that someone’s immediate actions may have a cause not currently present. So it’s the willingness not to immediately judge. It’s also the ability, because Grace is the pinnacle result of having pursued Wisdom, to generally and accurately discern when someone may actually need some gracious yet effective re-direction of their immediate behavior. In other words Grace is both the willingness and ability to maintain an open mind and also the ability to effectively act when the truth is perceived. In fact one of the major aspects of Wisdom and Grace is bothness itself. That is the willingness and ability to see both possibilities for a reality as it is occurring, integrating what you see and then generally coming up with the correct and the actual truth of the situation…..and then graciously handling it as well. So, actually Grace is integrating a bothness, a twoness, a duality, a situation or set of ideas that may appear in conflict…and then combining all of the factors involved into a third state of mind that is a greater unified whole. So Wisdom and its pinnacle concept and/or experience Grace,….is actually a Trinity. An integrated twoness/Duality and a third and distinctive but unified wholeness. Grace is Trinity, unity and wholeness.

So Grace can make a society whole and integrated and unified, not fragmented and contentious and at war with itself or other societies.  Grace means peace in oneself and with others. Grace is deep and powerful, deep and awe inspiring, deep and effective, deep and blessed…for each and all. Grace is the deepest word and idea in the dictionary. If you want to understand and be blessed for it….contemplate Grace. Make Grace and graciousness your reality and it will not fail you. Not in your inner experience and not in its outward expression. Grace is the integration of inner and outer power….and the intention to Lovingly express it as well.  Such are a few of the aspects and benefits of Grace. Please contemplate them.
