Both socialism and Finance capitalism are largely uneconomic. Integrate their dwindling truths and delete their burgeoning untruths and you’ll have competitive and innovative profit making direct monetary distributism. Follow the logic and good common sense of the Hegelian dialectic by ending the obsessive contentiousness of the above two forms….so you get to the actually progressive point of their synthesis/integration….and we may avoid the dis-integrative state that results from such obsession gone on too long.

The Business Model to Business Model 10% Pass On Discount/Rebate….
…discourages and virtually eliminates any “human freedom to act in a chaotic system” type price inflation by making competition for price an assured reality throughout the entire economic/productive process. And with the additional savings that every business will reap with the elimination of both transfer taxes and incomes taxes becoming redundant with the dividend and retail discount/rebate policies it will be extremely hard for any enterprise to justify price increases anyway….except for purposes of naked greed, desire to profit and willingness to try to destabilize a system despite such policies finally freeing them from the systemic austerity that the monopoly paradigm of finance has enforced upon them for so long.
Thank you. Yes it was an inspired innovative policy idea that I alone came up with.

Yes, Keen via Minsky re-discovered the validity of C. H. Douglas’ A + B theorem which stated that A as a flow of individual incomes will not pay for A + B as a flow of costs. Keen’s debt deflation hypothesis (that a flow of the continual build up of debt service costs, even at 0% interest, will eventually overwhelm the ability to service those costs) is simply a re-statement of Douglas’ insight….and the costless nature of the new paradigm of Monetary Gifting…is the only actual solution to that conundrum.
Though this is obvious when one ACTUALLY sees it, the two reasons Keen hasn’t announced the new paradigm is because even though he has a first rate mind, he doesn’t have the full mental skill set for paradigm perception, and being a macro-economist is caught up in three times removed abstraction and so hasn’t looked directly at the everyday operations of commerce. Hence he misses the significance of the point of retail sale and how tying monetary policy directly to it can reverse the problematic build up of ever increasing costs.

“Today’s news consists of aggregates of fragments. Anyone who has taken part in any event that has subsequently appeared in the news is aware of the gross disparity between the actual and the reported events. We also learn frequently of prefabricated and prevaricated evens of a complex nature purportedly undertaken for the purposes wither of suppressing or rigging the news, which in turn perverts humanity’s tactical information resources. All history becomes suspect. Probably our most polluted resource is the tactical information to which humanity spontaneously reflexes.”

“Few realize that political action offers little solution to the world’s major problems. Few understand that the elite have created political parties in order to prevent real change from ever taking place. The political arena is merely the “sty” in which two or more mutually hostile agencies, created by the same hidden hand, get the chance to pummel one another. As alternative researcher Juri Lina so brilliantly put it: When the left wing Freemason is finished, the right-wing Freemason takes over The point has been emphasized by many an insider: The elementary principle of all deception is to attract the enemy’s attention to what you wish him to see and to distract his attention from what you so not wish him to see – General Sir Archibald Wavel The world’s power structures have always ‘divided to conquer’ and have always ‘kept divided to keep conquered.’ As a consequence the power structure has so divided humanity – not only into special function categories but into religious and language and color categories – that individual humans are now helplessly inarticulate in the face of the present crisis. They consider their political representation to be completely corrupted, therefore, they feel almost utterly helpless”

“Something hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do. Think of the Queen Mary — the whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. And there’s a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trimtab.
It’s a miniature rudder. Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all. So I said that the little individual can be a trimtab. Society thinks it’s going right by you, that it’s left you altogether. But if you’re doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go.
So I said, call me Trimtab.”

“We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.”

“I live on Earth at present, and I don’t know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing — a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process – an integral function of the universe.”

“Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren’t any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn’t be here in the first place. And never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about. So be that one person. ”

“I am enthusiastic over humanity’s extraordinary and sometimes very timely ingenuity. If you are in a shipwreck and all the boats are gone, a piano top buoyant enough to keep you afloat that comes along makes a fortuitous life preserver. But this is not to say that the best way to design a life preserver is in the form of a piano top. I think that we are clinging to a great many piano tops in accepting yesterday’s fortuitous contrivings as constituting the only means for solving a given problem.”

Once You’ve Recognized….
the monopolistic dominance, financial instability and enforced individual austerity caused by the current monetary paradigm of Debt Only it’s just a straightforward rational process of reversing such enslavement that breaks up that monopoly with policies of Monetary Gifting strategically implemented at the point of retail sale.
As there is no end to history and men are not altogether rational or well intended beings you will also want to implement further policy and regulation throughout the system to encourage the ethic upon which Monetary Gifting is based, that is grace-graciousness, and where necessary sovereignly using taxation for its only legitimate purpose, i.e. the discouragement of personal and commercial vice.

Policy is the epitome of temporal universe reality and relevance.
If Steve Keen says that modern capitalist economies are demand constrained, Michael Hudson says (correctly) that Finance is a huge and ever growing parasite on the actually productive economy and I say that the deepest problem of all is the curiously contradictory and monopolistic paradigm of Debt Only that the business model of private finance currently dominates everyone and every other business model with…..then why are the twin policies of a universal dividend and a 50% discount/rebate at the point of retail sale that immediately double everyone’s potential purchasing power and thus also potentially double the amount of money available in the economy to purchase its production….not what we all are banging up against the walls of the Bastille with and demanding that our pols implement?????
Can anyone give me a better example of that much RELEVANT AND BENEFICIAL temporal universe policy change for the individual, all commercial agents and the entire system???
Truths
Private finance is not a legitimate economic business model. It is also inevitably ethically problematic and contrary to the truth that individuals and systems must be hierarchically guided and directed by the highest of ethical concepts rather than by mere reason and/or self interest.
Public finance resolves the hierarchical aspect of that problem, but is as inevitably problematic as its private variety unless it is based on such high ethical concept and aligned policies.
Chaos has been confused with freedom in economic theory for at least the last 150 years.
There is no discerning an actual ethic in the midst of chaos, unless and until a stable datum is established upon which it and policies can be aligned.
Putting Together The Insights…
…that retail sale is the terminal ending point of the entire legitimate economic process, the terminal summing point of all costs for every product or service in the economy and that double entry bookkeeping, the money system and the pricing system are all digital, that is, equal plus and minus entries sum to 0….enables a paradigm change in economics and changes the effects of monetary policy from indirect to direct, from inflationary to deflationary, from unstable to as stable as the temporal universe enables, from ineffective to effective, from illegitimate to legitimate, from individually and commercially enslaving to individually, commercially and systemically freeing and from hopelessly and problematically privately administered to discerningly, graciously and ethically publicly guided.
Paradigm changes are always marked by such inversions, transformations and great and stable progressions as well as new discoveries, insights and/or tools that enlighten.
The stable datum of retail sale is the rock upon which the complexity and seeming unresolvability of the problems of the current paradigm will dissipate and regenerate as the new paradigm thus making it the telescope and ellipse of economic theory.
Virtually All Economists….
…are so scientifically careful that they’re no paradigmatic good.
Virtually All Economists….
…even the leading edge ones are paradigm dunces. They’re all very smart, but they lack scholarly and historical knowledge of paradigms and insight into the signatures of new ones. They also lack the peculiar combination of mentally integrative skills for paradigm perception, that is, the ability to think reductionistically and holistically at the same time.
A paradigm is a single concept that describes an entire new pattern, hence it requires one to find the single correct mental concept and expression of the new paradigm (reduction) and simultaneously see how and why its policies fit within and resolve the chronic problems and dualistic conflicts of the old paradigm to the point of thirdness and greater oneness of understanding (wholistic pattern thinking) . Thirdness greater oneness by the way has always been not only the signature of true paradigm change, but also the signature of wisdom, and not coincidentally the very process of wisdom and its attainment is the thorough integration of the truths in opposing perspectives that results in thirdness greater oneness.
The mental skills of paradigm perception and wisdom are essentially the same (wisdom includes the mental skills of science and the scientific method), and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the non-dogmatic insights of the world’s major wisdom traditions is hence a great boon to paradigm perception. For instance the concept of trinity, i.e. the thorough integration of a duality within and/or resulting in an integrative thirdness greater oneness is seen not only throughout the world’s wisdom traditions, but throughout nature, mathematics, the scientific method, logic and the concept of process/the cycle of action of the temporal universe.
