The point in MMT as well as every other system is the current and its new operant applied idea…that changes everything IOW its present and new paradigms. Not looking at/realizing this will at best result in palliative reform and at worst engender new ways to frame fallacious orthodoxies. Systemic analysis is fine and good but conceptual/paradigmatic analysis is far deeper and consequencial. Start there and then find the most efficacious ways to systemically apply it. Reversing that process generally leads to a lot of heat but little or no light.
