I respect Skidelsky’s and Pilkington’s attempts here and there’s no doubt that they are knowledgeable and erudite, but they aren’t studied in Wisdom which is the higher mental order that thoroughly integrates the practical, the ideal and the ethical. Demystified Wisdom and Wisdom’s pinnacle concept aligned and applied as concrete policies is what economics needs….not the erudite pertubations of neo-liberal “Ptolemaic epicycles” or even Reformations. We need a paradigm change in economics, in physics and in our understanding of ourselves.
