Both the transcendental and the natural concept of God have no necessary conflict with each other.  God as a great omniscient and omnipresent beingness is essentially the flip side of the natural concept that the cosmos itself is God and we as individuals are individual reflections of God and our individual consciousness requires that realization and continual integration of our thoughts, emotions and actions to approximate the consciousness of God/the cosmos. The utter integration of matter and consciousness is the cosmos and that state simply exists. When one fully realizes this they are at one with the cosmos/God.
