Unfortunately, the orthodox of any kind nearly always need to get bit in the ass by a painful contradiction of their truth before they are willing to drop their allegiance to it…..and that may have to happen a thousand times. What usually magically changes their minds is the changing of many others’ opinions, and the success of a differing theory.
