But just remember that a discount to retail prices is still needed in order to catch the inevitable cost push and demand pull inflation that will come from businesses as they see any increases in individual incomes. We don’t want inflation to increasingly erode individual incomes and (particularly small to medium sized) business profits. That would only give regressive forces an opening to critique and confuse.
