Fully recognizing the extent of outmoded orthodoxies is the key to re-engaging the will of the mass of individuals and enabling confidence, hope and good will back into Life and Living.
The most pervasive orthodoxy not yet so recognized is….that the mindset of science alone…..is an adequate one for the above task.
Now please recognize that I’m not advocating the abandonment of science. Far from it. Science is an essential aspect of the overall solution. It is only the orthodoxy of science as a solution by itself that misses the mark. Science must be placed under the same microscope that religion has been under for the last four centuries or so.
There is a third way of looking at things that is both unfying and trans-formative. That is the way of integrative Wisdom leading to natural spirituality. That science and spirituality cannot be integrated is the dogma of both the scientistic and the moralistic religionist. Let us look at all orthodoxies so that we may progress toward the gracious state of the moment….and every proceeding moment.
