One who believes in the adequacy of Science is conditioned to invalidate realities as much (and in many cases much more) than they are validating or discovering them. This is clear from the study of the history of Science and is increasingly the case today. Of course on the level of science one is completely correct in doing this, except for the fact that, again, such mindset historically so often becomes a rigid orthodoxy and so actually inhibits discovery of new truth(s). The hallmark of good science and also of scientific breakthrough is open mindedness to new data and thinking particularly new thinking that integrates an aspect of consciousness like imagination, intuition, cognition, flow and play.
