Paradigms are nothing more and certainly nothing less than the operant idea(s) creating/enforcing the realities…of entire patterns of thought, bodies of knowledge and areas of human endeavor. All of MMT, Keen’s Minsky’s Financial Instability Hypothesis, Hudson’s Financial Parasitism, UBI and Ellen Brown’s Public Banking have the problematic area of the economy surrounded, namely “money, debt and banks/banking”. So why then do we not make a concerted effort to analyze and discern the specific new paradigm concept that, applied, will change the entire economy and the money system?

Satire is good, but conscious discovery of the exact operant applied paradigm concept and where best to actually apply it is key. The Copernican cosmological paradigm concept didn’t take effect until Galileo saw the moons of Jupiter and Kepler discovered that orbits were ellipses instead of perfect circles. All the data is there to find these required additional phenomena we just need to look directly at the economic process itself and think integratively about the where and how to implement it so as to best resolve the problems we’ve identified.

When there appears to be no ability to agree and solutions are APPARENTLY impossible the only rational alternative is INTEGRATIVE ACTION. Wisdom is the superlative integrative mental discipline and grace as in love in action/systemic policy is its pinnacle concept. (Thats pinnacle NATURAL PHILOSOPHICAL concept, so please do not mistake me for some religious zealot.) Two of the major aspects of grace are loving action and unity. Self actualizing these is, again, the only rational alternative, and failure to integrate is simply self actualizing one or the other of the problematic duality under discussion.

Economics is participated in by everyone. Money DOES make the world go ’round, but its paradigm of Debt Only is monopolistic, dominating, economically unstable and hasn’t changed since at least the beginning of human civilization. Break up that monopoly with gracious policies at universally participated points in the economic process and you’ll be able make money and economics accomplish the GOOD.

A Wisdomics-Gracenomics is the integrative rational alternative economically, monetarily and geo-strategically.

Because my mother used to say to me, “Be a good boy”,…right along with teaching me to “sit”, “down”, “Roll over” and “Play dead”.

Also, I want to be the first person in the modern era to merit greeting people with the salutation of: “You’re welcome” because I’ve done them all a good turn by ending inflation forever, immediately and mathematically doubling their purchasing power and greatly increasing the demand for every enterprise’s goods and services…all with a single policy.

China will continue to kick the West’s ass so far as growth and innovation are concerned because they have a much more pragmatic attitude toward DEBT. However, if they don’t recognize the specific new monetary paradigm and where to most efficaciously apply it they’ll likely still utilize the current monopoly paradigm for the creation and distribution of new money of Debt ONLY to continue to dominate their general populace…exactly like every political elite has done since Rome when debt jubilee was completely discontinued, and actually even before that because debt jubilees were only intermittent instead of on a continuing basis. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely afterall.

If the Chinese wake up and make an actual paradigm change they’ll not only be the world’s greatest export platform they’ll also have the happiest and most prosperous domestic economy the world has ever seen as well. Such is the power of the policies of Monetary Gifting, especially a 50% Discount/Rebate policy at retail sale. The West had better wake up and throw off the parasitical burden of the current paradigm.

We need to start a “satyagraha” movement for the new monetary paradigm. “Firmness in a good cause” for Monetary Grace As In Gifting i.e. a Wisdomics-Gracenomics and its policies would instill people with hope for both abundance and ecological sanity. Wisdom is always the solution via the thorough integration of the truths in opposite concepts.

And why is this level of analysis important? Because paradigms are the operant applied ideas that create and enforce the realities of entire mental and temporal universe patterns. Change them…and you change BOTH your own realities AND the realities of the system itself. So lets examine the present and new monetary and economic paradigms and see if the new paradigm follows the signatures of historical paradigm changes.

What is the dominant idea in the present economy and money system? As private finance dominates todays economy that idea must be in that area. For instance, private banks create upwards of 97% of all new money every year. And even more significantly they create it all ONLY AS DEBT. The word ONLY designates that reality as a monopoly concept. So the dominant economic and monetary paradigm concept is Debt ONLY as the sole form and vehicle for the creation and distribution of new money. So you can’t argue for the present paradigm without defending monopoly power. Now looking at figure 1 we can also see that finance is always pre-production, pre-purchase or post retail sale. That identifies the present paradigm as completly exterior to and so always a parasite on the economic/actually productive process. So you can’t argue for the current paradigm without defending a parasite’s non-economic costs on the economy.

Now looking at past historical paradigm changes it is observable that the primary signatures of new paradigm concepts are always that they are in complete conceptual opposition to the present anomalous paradigm, and that the new paradigm totally inverts both human mental realities and temporal universe realities as well as well as resolving the seeming unresolvable problems of the current paradigm. Here are a couple examples of these truths:

Nomadic Hunting and Gathering For Survival to Homesteading, Urbanization and Abundance of Agriculture is an excellent example of the above signatures.

The Copernican Cosmological paradigm change was nothing more and certainly nothing less than the mental change from geo-centrism to helio-centrism and the temporal universe inversion of the positions of the earth and the sun.

The new paradigm of Monetary Gifting is in complete conceptual opposition to the present paradigm of Debt Only. In other words it changes from ONLY debt as in the burden to repay to debt, but also strategically implemented Gifting as well. It also completely inverts and resolves the problematic present realities of chronic erosive inflation and chronic scarcity of both individual purchasing power and hence scarcity of demand for every enterprise’s goods and services, so the new paradigm perfectly mirrors the historical signatures of conceptual opposition and temporal universe reality inversion.

Now just as an aside, the change from geo-centrism to helio-centrism was initially delayed by the fact that its ability to predict planetary movements was actually less accurate than those made by geo-centrism. It took Galileo’s observations of the moons of Jupiter to confirm the possible reality of the sun being the center of the universe and Kepler’s discovery of the elliptical nature of planetary orbits to make helio-centrism more accurate than geo-centrism.

Regarding the new monetary paradigm 1) the new temporal universe (Galilean) observation that retail sale is the single universally participated in point in the entire economic process making a direct and reciprocal monetary policy at that point experienced by all wed to 2) a (Keplerian) new discovery that a 50% discount to the consumer at retail all of which discount is rebated back to the merchant granting it so they are not punished in any way and in fact all economic agents individual and commercial are wildly benefitted by the ending of inflation and the doubling of individual purchasing power and hence an increase in demand for the goods and services of virtually every enterpris, perfectly mirrors the validation and accuracy process of the Copernican Cosmological paradigm change.

So with all due humility I am actually the Copernicus (exact new paradigm concept), Galileo (temporal universe validation of temporal reality) and Kepler (new discovery that resolves the deepest problems of the old paradigm) of the new monetary paradigm.

Paradigm perception and wisdom insights are synonymous in that they are alike deep simplicities. For instance the wisdom insight that Everything is 99% Attitude and the concept of Monetary Gifting brings abundance, systemic freedom and tremendous cost savings to every economic agent…are both deep simplicities. The fact of their being simplicities is a major reason why, in an age where science is nearly a monopoly paradigm as the only valid means of intellectual inquiry, that most researchers reject or neglect wisdom/paradigmatic analysis.

Furthermore, system’s analysis is a wholly contained set of conceptual/philosophical/wisdom analysis (use figue 2 to show that system’s analysis can help and does identify the core area but not the core concept that can change everything in the system).

The Concept of Mega-Paradigm Change

Mega-paradigm changes are very rare. They are characterized by immediate, universally experienced, at least within the primary area of change, continuous in their beneficial effects and also have spill over positive effects into other bodies of knowledge, systems and/or areas of human endeavor. There has probably only been two mega-paradigm changes in the entire history of the human species. The first was when humanity emerged from the rest of the animal kingdom with such increased self awareness that they became much more aware of morals and ethics, which is the rational consideration of morals, as an unavoidable cosmic reality.

The second mega-paradigm change was, again, the change from nomadic hunting and gathering to homesteading, urbanization and agriculture.

The third mega-paradigm change will be the new monetary, financial and economic paradigm of Gifting.

Enumerate immediacy, universality, continuousness and spillover signatures of Monetary Gifting

Grace as the concept behind every new paradigm and the cosmic reality

Space, Time, Space-Time/the temporal universe as aspects of the concept of grace

Show that change in zeitgeist/ethic of the age is the only level of analysis above paradigmatic level and that implementing the new monetary paradigm is the first and necessary step toward identifying both the present zeitgeist, so called ethic of the age (Power, Profit and Control) and implementing the new actual zeitgeist (Redeemed Power, Profit and Control via Alignment with the superlative ethical concept behind every new paradigm and every major historical change, the natural philosophical concept of grace.

Excellent systemic accounting exegesis of the current system…and its paradigm of Debt ONLY as the sole form and vehicle for the creation and distribution of new money. Nothing inherently wrong with the concept of debt itself, only a monopolistically enforced, dominating and hence problematic paradigm of IT. The last monopoly paradigm was the Roman Catholic Church’s salvation via its sacraments ONLY which was resolved by people understanding that they were FREE to have a direct relationship with god. What we need is a monetary, financial and economic Reformation that strategically integrates the FREEDOM enhancing effects of Monetary Gifting into the economy in ways that destroys current orthodoxies and resolves its deepest problems.

Hi, my name is Steven Hummel. I have been a student of all of the leading progressive economic reformists and their movements since 2008 when we had what is referred to as the Great financial Crisis. I affirm virtually all of their research and yet recognize their limitations. What I mean by that is their system’s analysis is spot on, but what they have missed or neglected is system’s philosophy as R. Buckminster Fuller advised us to pursue in order to perceive and act upon the concepts behind our systems that enforce their realities and hopefully reveal new ones that can resolve their problems/anomalies. This is what is referred to as a paradigm change. 

I have written a book entitled Wisdomics-Gracenomics: The New Monetary Paradigm and Its Policies. Surprisingly I have had trouble getting mainstream media to take an interest in my book. I suspect that this is a combination of fear of Finance which dominates virtually everyone and every other commercial agent, acculturated cynicism and equally acculturated unconsciousness of what paradigms actually are, which is deep applied simplicities and which is synonymous with wisdom insights. Hence the first word in the title of my book. It can be discerned that the beneficial effects of virtually all new paradigms are aspects of the natural philosophical concept of grace. Hence the second word of the title of my book.

Again, in the interest of finding a greater platform for the new monetary paradigm and its economic benefits for virtually all agents individual and commercial, and even more importantly for the beneficial effects it will also have on our selves and other of our systems (imagine an economy based on grace and that evokes gratitude instead of resentment) I’m hoping that the Unitarian Universalist church can help in that process. As integrative unity and universality are aspects of the concept of grace I’m thinking you might be interested.
