Gold can be a speculative and serially unstable commodity…full stop. But progress is never backward, especially toward something that has failed in the past. And the “solution” of Bitcoin that is opaque, insecure and requires huge amounts of energy when the present form and amount of energy expenditure is an integral part of our converging crises…is no solution at all.
