Excellent exegesis of AI and its characteristics…and still essential lack thereof. The ultimate thing we need to keep in mind is AI will only be a useful cypher unless or until it can be made conscious ITSELF…and an essential aspect of that (consciousness itself) is self awareness that recognizes and respects the fact that others are also self aware…in other words it is not narcissistic and respects ethics which is the rational consideration of mere black/white moralism.

The pursuit should be both AI and AEAC (artificial ethically aware consciousness) …and of course we need better Human as well as artificial…ethically aware consciousness.
