Compromise.

Only thing is a “compromise” is usually not an actual compromise, but just a palliative of the real problem which is still left in place.

A paradigm change is an actual solution, the single concept that frees us from THE problem. 

And when a solution is actually available, compromise with the real problem…is an unethical act.
