Of course if you and your employer wanted you to work 40+ hours/week that would be an available option as well and you would still get your dividend. A cooperative effort by the helping professions, the clergy and  the government to make people more aware of the many positively purposeful activities that they could pursue and that fit both their interests and particular abilities would be created as well.
