TH:  Blaming Hume is a huge part of the problem and a good example of how the heterodox critique is able to change without making any significant progress toward its putative goal.

Me:  I understand what you are saying, however,  electro-magnetism may actually be an apt allusion in that it fits into my integrative model of an integrated Duality within an integrative trinity-unity. Electro-magnetism being the integration of positive and negative charges and the thirdness/unitary force of electricity. I call it the Cosmic Code and this is how I would formulate it:

[ ( A x B ) –> C/U ]             In other words a sufficiently integrated Duality leads to a thirdness/oneness, i.e. a trinity-unity. Electro-magnetism fits easily into such a formula thusly:

[ ( + x – ) –> Electricity ]

Progress in Economic theory which moves along “one death of an authority at a time” might not only be hastened by an ethic of such flowing openness, but also might hasten a sufficiently deep and insightful integration that it resolves the major conflicts between the Duality of     (Capitalism x Socialism).
