Wisdom is the gracious integration of philosophy (thought) and policy (action) in the most ethical way possible. In fact Wisdom tends to enlighten Truth and expose circumstances or claims based solely or mostly on lesser considerations like power and control. Power and control without graciousness and ethical consideration in all spheres is all too easily corrupted as history and our own experiences tell us. Grace as a philosophy and policy integrated entirely with Ethics encompasses power and control themselves and thus is also an option and a most effective tool in fact of Wisdom/Grace. Solomon for instance, in the classical biblical story of both the insight and power of Wisdom and Grace, was not afraid to utilize his power in suggesting a terrible action in order to expose the truth of the claims of two women to the same child. Wisdom and Grace are aligned with and tied to Ethics. Power and control…not always the case.
